Rawmart is the data fiduciary (controller) responsible for the personal data described here. Most people we deal with are acting in a business capacity — as employees or representatives of customers, suppliers and partners — but this policy applies to any identifiable individual whose data we process.

• Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and time spent, collected through server logs and cookies or similar technologies.
• We do not use the website to knowingly collect sensitive personal data. Please do not send us information such as health, biometric or financial account data unless it is specifically required for vendor onboarding.

• To respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and proposals, and negotiate and perform orders.

Rawmart is based in India and primarily processes data in India. Where we work with international customers or suppliers, personal data may be transferred to or accessed from other countries. Such transfers are made in accordance with applicable Indian law and are not made to any jurisdiction restricted by the Government of India. Where relevant, we put contractual protections in place with recipients.

07Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including to meet contractual, tax, accounting and legal-record requirements. Enquiry data that does not lead to an engagement is typically retained for up to 24 months; transaction and vendor records are retained for the periods required by law (generally up to 8 years from the end of the relevant financial year), after which data is deleted or anonymised.

We maintain reasonable technical and organisational security measures appropriate to the nature of the data — including access controls, encryption in transit, network protection, logging, and staff confidentiality obligations — consistent with the reasonable-security-practices requirement under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
